Vulcan makes a flying visit

18th September 2008

Vulcan over Hangar 1 While serviceability sadly precluded her appearance at the Sywell Airshow last month, Vulcan XH558 put in an appearance at the Aerodrome today - in formation with the Sywell-based Blades aerobatic team.

The Blades are the UK's only 'formation airline' able to take passengers up for an airborne experience nobody forgets in a hurry. Today that experience was to fly alongside the world's only flying Avro Vulcan, and 8 lucky passengers (including Iron Maiden's Bruce Dickinson) got a view that very few people get!
