Sywell Aviation Museum - we're the best - and it's official!

At the Renaissance Northamptonshire Heritage Awards held at Kelmarsh Hall last night the Museum was awarded not one but TWO awards including that from the most coveted category 'Museum of the Year 2007'.

Members of the Museum attending were Ben Brown, Richard Watts and Terry Levett. It was Terry who single handedly constructed the Museum's Wartime Kitchen display which won the 'Best Exhibition' Category for this year against stiff competition from much larger and better funded museums such as the Northampton Central Museum and Art Gallery.

Overall the awards are a huge feather in our cap and we hope that the publicity will bring many more visitors to the Museum to see our (now award-winning) displays!
