'Mike Victor' Back at Sywell

10th March 2007

After a two year absence, the late Paul Morgan's North American T-6G Texan G-DDMV or 'Mike Victor' has made a welcome return to the airfield where she was based for 15 years after arriving from the USA in 1990.

Now owned by Warbird Experiences, the aircraft will be based once again at Sywell from where she will be giving pleasure flights over the summer.

Regarded as the most successful training aircraft ever built, some 15,000 Texan/Harvard aircraft were constructed during WW2. They were used as advanced trainers by the USAAF/USAF and RAF until the late 1950s and the type was a regular visitor to Sywell during its RAF service life.

For more information on booking the ride of a lifetime in Mike Victor - visit the Warbird Experiences website.
