Extension Raffle 2011 Results
Following the great success of our 2008 Sywell 80th Anniversary Raffle which raised nearly £2000 for Museum funds and enabled us to build our first extension (see news), we ran a second raffle to fund phase 2!
The results are as follows:
- A flight in a WW2 North American Harvard Warbird courtesy of Colin Dabin - won by Mr Michael Law, Rushden
- A trial lesson in a Robinson R22 Helicopter provided by the excellent people at Sloane Helicopters - won by Mr Clifford Stonehouse, Godalming
- A flight in a WW2 de Havilland Tiger Moth Biplane thanks to Bob Moore - won by Mr Gareth Clinker, Towcester
- A trial flying lesson in an AT3 Trainer through the good offices of Brooklands Flying School - won by Mr Shaun Williams, Nuneaton
- A trial microlight lesson (flexwing or fixed) due to the excellent chaps at Flylight Air Sports - won by Mr Alex Yeates, Hemel Hempstead
The raffle raised a whopping £2337 for Museum funds - a HUGE sum to us and our best raffle ever!
Our sincere thanks to all those kind people who bought tickets and our brilliant friends for supplying prizes... the raffle will return in a couple of years time!
